if i'm in cali...i'm leaving here the end of may and heading north to san francisco...sacto...and berkley for submission hold on june 11th...then either going up to or and wa or heading to denver then straight to the east coast...but let me know if you're traveling at all..i'm probably going to be moving to baltimore after the summer's over...you can call me if need be, i'll check my voice mail the whole time i'm traveling....562 879 3364
I always wanted to like that bike, but I don't like slanted top tube. I saw that you were moving to Baltimore. There is some good riding here, I think. And with a pretty bike like that, you should be a star. I don't know what it is about Baltimore, but people here have really nice and well-maintained bicycles. They don't ride beat up bikes.
i've always had shit hole bikes made from scrap parts or whatever..this was the cheapest/nicest bike i could afford...so i love it. the slanted top tube kinda fucks with me too but i love the bike now...so it's cool.
Yeah, my Surly was my first really good frame. I like finding cheap bikes and fixing them up, but there is something nice about having a quality machine that works really well.
