Jasper has been stalking. It's not as if there's a great deal to do without Alice around. Staying busy helps him keep a lid on...well...everything. He's also developed a bit of a protective streak for Jack.
He might be cheating. He might be sending out chill vibes.
Maybe.
Okay so he is but really she needs to learn to fight that.
Just in case.
And on that note he moves from his spot in the bushes, snatches her DS out of her hand and disappears into the bushes again.
"Tsk Tsk Tsk. Slacking on the job Jacqueline."
His voice seems to come from various spots because...well he's moving around.
Play fair? Please. He's accustomed to sparring with Alice.
She barely even lets out a gasp of surprise when her DS is snatched from her and Jasper does his stupid know-it-all thing. It's the tone, really. Insufferable.
Then there's the fact that he's cheating, which she knows he is because of the lack of aforementioned surprise. A scowl is the only movement she makes, eyes flicking to search in the bushes a moment.
Because she will not be baited. She will totally not do what he wants.
"It's not slacking when there's noth-- nothing else to do, you know." Yeah. So there. "Though getting twitchy for a staking now..."
