A rewatch of the Whedonverse

I can't remember how long ago it was when I last did a re-watch of Angel from the beginning. But as soon as I hit season three all the dark, forbidding emotions this particular season brings with it flooded back

I absolutely hated, HATED, the Angel/Cordy storyline. For me, it just never fit, and as such I have only watched those episodes once. Every time I rewatch Angel, I skip them. I just can't, won't.

I don't like the way it was handled. There was a point where it was really bubbling under the radar and could have been handled better. But then it became a huge pivotal thing, which then ended up being a huge car crash. Which then makes me feel icky about the end of season three and most of season four. :/

I LOVED Cordelia in Angel... and I struggle so much with Season 4 of Angel... I can't really get through it and I usually end up skipping it and going forward to Season 5!

ARGH. I'm the same! We're doing it as a family thing, so I will have to watch *those* scenes again, but… No. Just. No. I've found I've really blotted out most of season four, I just can't remember (other than that storyline) all the little bits in between.

I'll probably vent more when we get to that particular part...
