Throwback Thursday

For this week something slightly different. It's still music, and still a throwback to the early 2000s, but there's an added layer to this one. The band is P.O.D., the acronym for Payable On Death, something I never knew it stood for until a few weeks ago. hmm. I had no idea that POD was a religious band. I liked that song in hs and never caught on that it was religious.

Nor did I until a few years later! There are certain lyrics in some of their songs that you can interpret as religious references to God, but I think they did it very well to appeal to those in the mainstream who would consider themselves atheists.
