that is a tough situation.
but I must say that it is only being amplified by the way the crow flies. as much as I adore that book (and ann-marie macdonald, and everything her sacred literary hands lay upon) it is a HARRRDD read. it depressed the fuck outta me.
I hope you find a good place to spend christmas. maybe you can have a mcgill christmas-for-people-who-aren't-going-home party? and you can all sleep over and exchange presents in the morning?

I don't want to go home either, the idea makes me very upset. We should stay in Montreal and make our own amazing Christmas break!

We totally should do something to save each other from Christmax hell... if nothing else I'll be in town for new years i think. Montreal+New years=kickass to the max.

and I never have 10,000 replies. I love hearing from you. And what you said about your parents... financially present, emotionally not so much... that's my family to a T. I guess us self-raising kids just have to stick together. Once again, really thankss for what yous said. Makes me feel not so alone, which in this lifetime, is very important.
