it has been a reasonably pleasant labor day, despite my horrible old navy experience of last night (and despite steve irwin's untimely demise, which seems to be bumming out a lot of folks in these parts) AND despite my daughter's minor illness (she was running a fever this morning, no biggie... it meant that she was't as active, a guilty plus. i just asked my mom and she said scuppernons are the bronze ones-they are a type of muscodine grape though. she misses them! so do i. my grandparents had muscodines in their backyard. yum yum!

well, we have scuppernongs then! i thought we had the purple kind too, but when we went to look, we only saw the golden ones. equally delicious!
thanks for the 411! i do appreciate it because i knew at one time but i'm always forgetting... they taste the same to me and that's all i care about.

thanks! g, mom, and i got caught up watching this dvd we got from the library, supposedly about autism, but the subject of it obviously has other issues.
therefore, the wine has not been mentioned yet... here.
tomorrow, i MUST...
-go to class
-go see my boss because i was written up (i hate you, goddamn old navy!)
-pick some grapes
-pick some pears
whew!
that's the only bitch about holidays, man.
