Cool, hope you have a great time! I spent a few days in nearby Florence for New Year between 2005 and 2006, but I did get to Pisa for the day and climbed the Leaning Tower. :)

Grazie! :D I went to Florence back in 1989 when I was interrailing with a friend. We've been thinking about going to Florence from here for a day too but we're not sure yet. There are so many nice places to see and we've only got 3 full days left. Oh well, I guess I'll have to come back soon then. Today we spent by the sea. :D I've seen the tower of course but I didn't get to climb it. Taking tons of pics... :D
