Are we really on episode 8? Already? Doesn't seem possible.
How about that set-your-clocks-back time change? I'm all discombobulated. Loved the extra hour sleep though.:)
Consider me unstuck from last week's ep. Not that this one answered all my wtfs and there are a few waiting that I hope to see addressed at a later date, but it's Haven and it's their story and it's a TV show that's not always going to make sense, so unstuck.
And there were moments.
Now first off, I'm happy Audrey and Nathan finally got together. Story wise it happened at a decent pace and I like seeing characters become friends before they become lovers, so their relationship has always worked for me. I like them together. Didn't hurt that Nathan could see that Audrey was more than just Audrey. She's seems to be a little bit of all her previous lives.
The human-eyed whatchamacallits - now this is entertaining. I know they're the heralding of big evil and all, but they're kind of cute in the most absurd way.
Duke and Jennifer. Honestly, I'm not much of a shipper - even if this is one show I could ship just about anybody with anyone. If there's a natural progression to a relationship and story wise it makes sense, I'm good. That being said, these two just make me go 'aawwww.'
Confession - graveside monologues. Eh. I'm always whatever about those. Still, how cool is it that next ep Duke's secret isn't a secret? I adore this series for secrets not lasting! Maybe it's the 13 episode pace. I don't know, but I'll continue to enjoy the honesty/reveals to the fullest.
Dave needed to whack Vince over the head to get his attention sooner, but nice to see he finally caught up. Vince was too busy with 'Nathan, you gotta die'. Wondered how they were going to turn that around. Heh. Cliffhangers.
O_o nasty bad guys messing around with the troubles - and could they have found more perfect guys to portray the hand amping trouble pair? A Driscoll with a trouble - nice touch.
Admittedly, the deep sea suits gave me the giggles and we won't talk about the hose, but hey, dramatic moment and it gave us the Duke/Nathan scene that's been waiting for years. There have been others (oh yay) but I liked what was said at this one. Nathan gave a little more and it was time.
I absolutely adored Duke's 'how the hell did we get here?' since it needed to be said. Found it interesting that Nathan took it more to heart what Duke said than Audrey/Lexie, but then the one supposed to die is perhaps more accepting than the one that's supposed to do the killing.
Which brings me to the Nathan/Duke bromance that is happening and continues to happen and please, please let it continue to happen, because their relationship has always been an interesting one and is becoming more so.
I'm all over the place with this one and there's stuff I've forgotten, but I enjoyed. So, all in all. Unstuck.:)
Did anyone see next week's promo? Don't want to spoil it for anyone if you haven't.
