Why oh why isn't there more time to chat about the down to the core satisfying TV that has been happening lately?
Sleepy Hollow, Almost Human - these new shows - I want to grab everyone and sit them down on my couch and say 'watch this!'. Saying they're good doesn't cover what these shows are. They need to be experienced.:)
I like where this is moving to. No offense to Laurel/Katie Cassidy but the snap, crackle pop isn't there. She's a lovely woman, but no sizzle. Felicity and Oliver - first scene in season one together and boom. Snap, crackle pop and sizzle and it's continued with a nice slow build up since then. I'm not a big shipper, but I like watching the scenes with Oliver/Felicity and throw Diggle in there and it's even better. I don't want the buddy aspect of Oliver and Diggle to take back seat, but the Arrow Cave is big enough for the three of them. There be that all elusive chemistry at work. Pretty as Stephen Amell is I wouldn't be nearly as interested in this show if Oliver were alone. Shirtless training scenes, while ogling worthy, half the fun is seeing how Oliver reacts to those around him.
I'd love to go on, but sleeeeeep. I need some. People, catch me up on what you're watching these days. There's some mind-boggling fun shows this season.
