I'd be really hard pressed to pick the best 20 scenes in the movies. There were so many amazing little things.
Like the way Elrond boohoos on the background when Arwen's getting hitched at the end.:P
And the soup thing in the extended edition between Eowyn and Aragorn.
Billy Boyd singing....
Also, the lighting of the beacons was stunning. A lesser director would have cut it a lot shorter. *Yay for PJ!*

Ps. Don't bother with Memoirs of a Geisha. Pretty, yet painful. The halting english is grinding.

Exactly. I feel like I still notice some new things, which is just amazing.

The soup thing is great!

I almost jumped up and down on my seat the first time I saw the beacons. It was a totally unexpected stunning scene for me, so it was a just wonderful. It's a pity how a small TV screen doesn't do justice for the scene.

I doubt I'll bother with Memoirs of a Geisha. I more or less hated the book and though it's probably very pretty, it would just annoy me. The bits I've heard from the soundtrack didn't do anything to me either. Blah.

Must. Get. Back. To. Middle-earth.

I just can't help it, I still laugh out loud every time Pippin says: "What about second breakfast?"

Billy Boyd's accent. Aaah. Yes, what about that cd, Billy?!

Tell me about it. A friend just returned our EE's yesterday and I think I'll have to watch them soon. I need hobbit therapy.

Me too :D And then Aragorn throws an apple to his head!
