He won't stop you from redeeming your box tops, but if you come out bleeding from anywhere, he will come to you and offer healing. Of course, you can reject him if you're the sort to enjoy bleeding. He'll look disapproving, but it's your loss ( Read more... )

Seems like the more important the item, the bigger the cost.

[Not...talking about the fact that he got something back himself. Although nothing bad happened to him, he still feels pretty foolish for finally giving into temptation.]

That makes sense. But what's the minimum payment? Even for small things, I'm not sure....

[Well, at least you're still in one piece, Luke. Let's face it, the hamster was doomed anyway.]

Minimum payment? I'm not sure, it seems like even for small things people are still getting hurt pretty badly.

But are they limited to just losing body parts?

[Doesn't understand why he didn't lose anything physically, although he suspects it has to do with why his hamster disappeared. At least Mr. Hamster doesn't have to live with two drone guinea pigs anymore.]

[She's come to see people come in and out as well. She seems to be eating licorice as she walks over.]

[That strikes him as a little odd, but at the same time, he's here, so....he can't really judge, can he? The licrorice bit is weird though. He's seen too many bloody stumps to really enjoy eating something red and stringy now.]

Or they weren't thinking. I do that sometimes. But it's so much more dangerous here....

Yeah. People really need to think more. I mean, it's a creepy evil town! Doesn't it sound just a little strange that they suddenly want to give us our stuff back for cardboard.

Do normal Earth towns give things away for cardboard?
