Episode reaction, under the cut:
After watching the show with two friends, here's our reactions to tonight's episode:
#1: Oh. I didn't like that. What are they doing? That was depressing. I don't like the direction this is going.
#2: What's up with Sam, being all cold and uncaring? Why is he being such a dick? And why didn't he hug Dean back?
#1 to #3: What did you think? Did you like it?
#3: No.
Liked the classic rock intro, simply because we got some old school rock, which I have sorely missed. Didn't like that once again, Dean was the "Beautiful Loser". I expected to like Samuel (because I love Mitch Pileggi), but didn't really care for him. Didn't care for any of the other new members of Sam's new and improved family. Liked Lisa (especially her "talk" with Dean. Sing it, sister). Ben was pretty non-existant, so can't say I have an opinion one way or the other. I wanted to smack Bobby. How could he do that to Dean? How could Sam do that to Dean? And of course, Dean isn't allowed his anger. Not that it matters, now that Sam has his family to hunt with. And he gets to see Dean. I guess that Dean' isn't family, now that the awesome Campbells have appeared. And I'm sorry, but Sam has been out for a year, and he was in the cage for what, a few days, at most? Sam is a tool, and he's been a tool since S3.
Nope, not feeling the love.
