Toronto is the absolute best.  I can't believe how quickly things changed and how much I love living here, how used to the city I already feel.  I'm completely in love with everything: the fact that it is so busy, but my street is so quiet, I love the subway, I love balfour books and the 1040 gallery on Queen and there are so so many art stores,

Wow! I was just about to post a message for you that you needed to put something new on your blog, then lo and behold, I visit your blog today and there's a long letter filled with fascinating things. Firstly: when I read about the huge fire in Toronto in the newspaper, my first thought was "hmm I wonder if Amy saw that?" which you obviously did. I liked your description of what you saw, including the details of icicles freezing on trees; you have a way of writing that makes people feel that they are there. Secondly: I am so happy you that you love your new house and new city! Congrats on getting your stuff in stores already, too. Thirdly: hmmm.... I'm looking forward to seeing your house and neighbourhood...
Anyways, I have more to say, but I'll write you a proper email. Did you get to see the eclipse last night through all the smoke?
