you seriously just signed that off with "ohm" didn't you?

i'v been telling you for years that gut reactiosn are always based in the romantic which is in herently false. you have to take a step back before realizing the actual situation. ALSO YOU are the ne who's always been telling ME that you can only have a lease for the first year of living some where... after that is possible (and preferential to the LL) to sign more leases but usualy nott helpful.

End result. you = silly

i don't see how the romantic is INHERENTLY false, or how your initial gut reaction is romanticism. also, i definetely never knew before now that it is actually illegal for a landlord to require you to sign a renewal lease... i had never even heard of anyone trying to do that (or fooling you into thinking you had to), so i didn't know it was illegal. i don't think it was silly, in fact i am willing to bet there are a lot of students in my building who were misled into signing a renewal lease not realizing they had an option not to.
