If I ever go home again, it will be far too soon. Not my sort of people at all. No style or sophistication or real cunning... The only they have going for them is the bloodline.

Che. You are an exception in that you have friends from all houses. Most people--and not just Slytherins--tend to make the most friends within their own houses, and thus, they are the only people of importance when asking around to see who is staying.

How fortunate that you should ask this, as I've been wanting to get to know you for some time as well. I have Qudditch practice this afternoon, but I'm free after dinner. We can meet wherever is convenient for you, although the dungeons do have spare rooms about where we can speak without fear of being overheard.

I think I'll be here during the holidays. Parents are going to be heading off for Barbados instead of spending it at home. No sense in being home if it's going to be empty, I say.
