So,last night, after writing a good 8 pages worth of Chapter 5 of Under Advisment my computer broke down. I spent the rest of the night shaking and crying (yes I shed real tears) trying to figure out what it means to have a grey screen with a blinking question mark folder in the middle. If you can get it to run for long enough you could try to backup any lost data onto an external hard drive, right? My last computer's hard drive had this glitch where it would keep crashing after 5-8 minutes, but I was able to save everything within that time. Maybe someone at the Apple store could try to help you save the data before you replace it?

i saw an update but this is not the wonderful amazing fic update i was expecting! this is tragedy!
i have a mac too and yeah, it's definitely a good thing that mac stores know what douches their products can be sometimes. maybe one of the supposed "geniuses" can help you recover your stuff? wishful thinking... :(

What I think u'd missed the most would be your pictures, right?
I'd be so lost if anything happen to my external HD rite now. >_<
