Blythe is at a hotel overnight tonight in preparation for MEPS tomorrow. After much discussion and research, she has decided to join the Air Force! I am so excited and proud! I can't wait until tomorrow afternoon to see her sworn in. I'm nervous, but I know she'll get through MEPS no problem. I just hope that her job options line up with what she -

On hearing the news that my exhusband is getting divorced, my first thought was "Well, she put up with him longer than I did!". My Youngest Munchkins comment? "Now dad will have to get a job."
That's sad. I have serious doubts that he'll be able to support himself and her. He hasn't had a job in at least seven years, and has always had a woman ( Read more... ) -
New Doctor Who (squee!!!)
Watched the first full episode of the new season of Doctor Who last night, and loved it! I wasn't expecting to actually, being a fan of David Tennant, (and before that Christopher Eccleston) but Matt Smith did a fab job, and I quite liked the new companion as well (though Billie Piper as Rose Tyler will always be my favorite). There will be no convention attendance for me this year, due to disinterest in local scene and lack of funds for travel.

So , workin the job and all is well there. I have consumers I can handle, a boss that is straightforward and coworkers that I mostly don't hate. It looks like I will be taking vacation in April, allowing me to attend AdAstra convention in Toronto as well as EerieCon in Niagara Falls.
