Charlie died last night. I can't help but feel partly responsible. If I didn't move away and leave him with my parents he wouldn't have been so stressed out. He was so lonely after Bambi died. He was happier when I came home. Ugh. He lived a really long and crazy and cute life. He was almost 16 and that's probably good for a very neurotic bird. ( Read more... )

I bawled my eyes out at this... I loved Charlie so fucking much. We were gonna get married and have little neurotic bird-human children.

And when the hell did Bambi die?!
Damn it, I'm so out of the loop over here.

She died back in May? I can't remember exactly. I thought I posted about it but I guess I didn't.

I think Matthew and I are going to get a parakeet when Miles the cat isn't around anymore.
