1. What is your all time favorite book and why? The Great Gatsby. I've read it like 3 times. It's a great thing to read when you've just been f*cked over by a crush and you're all emo and such. Gatsby's a great character to relate to for that sort of thing.

40 year old virgin counts as a dick flick? For some reason when you said "dick" flick I was thinking mindless action/violence/explosion/car chase movies, rather than almost-adorable-in-a-way cutesy potty humor movies....

You know, I sort of enjoyed Gatsby, but never really cared for it a whole lot. But I always loved the bit at the ending:
"tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms further…And on fine morning - / So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past."
I might have to give it another read and see if I can appreciate it more now than I could then.

1. What is your all time favorite book and why? gone with the wind. it was my first "big-girl" book, and i've probably read it 20+ times. at least once a summer i read it. it's my little tradition.
2. What is your favorite song of the moment? going to sound really lame, but on the darkside by eddie and the cruisers. i saw that movie last night, and it's been stuck in my head all day.
