this was a great story, and very believable. looking forward to reading more.

They totally just need to get married already. Season two should start with them waking in Vegas, and the season could be them awkwardly working through that mess ;)

I'm glad it was believable. Whenever I start writing for a new fandom I always seem to slip into pieces that are all about the body language, and the little moments between people, before I branch out into actual...dialogue and story and stuff! So i'm glad it seemed true to them :)

This is GORGEOUS.

I love that you refer to them as "mom and dad", that's so perfect. I love that you can convey so much about their relationship, just by your vivid descriptions of their body language. And I love the struggle within Will here - wanting her, wanting to trust her, but just not being sure.

I hope you write more!

The mum and dad comment actually came from something Jeff Daniel's said...i think. He referred to them as mum and dad and I've never been able to get that image out of my head. It's very apt.

And they'd totally be cuddlers :D

I love this! I loved the mum and dad comment, I remember Jeff Daniels saying something like that on an interview or something, it was really sweet. Very believable dialogue and thoughts and stuff.. I really hope you'll be writing more! :) x

Of course your usage of the mom and dad is all kinds of wonderful, but so is your language and the setting you create in this piece. It's so peaceful and sweet and, well, sleepy, and I mean that in the best way possible. I totally see them spread out like you describe them, and it's wonderful to know that Will, despite his mind spinning, can eventually fall asleep so close to her peacefully.
