I absolutely adore what you did with Rose and Jayne. If it wasn't for the Doctor and his epicness, I'd be totally rooting for them. I guess Rose just has that affect on people. Poor Jayne.

On a side note, I do adore what what the Doctor said. True, and very him.

Haha! Yeah, in another universe, I can sort of see Rose & Jayne together. But it's gotta be Ten/Rose here :)

Different yes but equally excellent! Love how Rose instinctively knows what to say to help Jayne cope with his grief and help him be the very best he can. Also love the interaction between Book & the Doctor can so see them both very clearly and clearly them.

Thanks! That's great to hear. I see Book and the Doctor as very similar in some ways and opposite in others, but I think there would be an overall sense of mutual respect between them.

When Jayne actually does something right, he just melts my heart. It's such a wonderful thing... eeee!

I have no idea where you are going with this story, but I am dying to find out!

Aww, me too! About the heart-melting, not the having-no-idea-where-the-story-is-going :)

This was a lovely chapter. I loved the Jayne POV, his friendship with Rose, and that fact that everything didn't work out perfectly.

Thank you! I think that both DW and FF do a really good job of showing the real toll of war. Glad you liked what I did with that :)

Really enjoying the relationship between Jayne and Rose. I think Rose understands what it's like to be underestimated due to your schooling and situation in life, so it really makes sense she's see the good side of him and try to foster it.
