Does John McCain ever actually say anything? I'm listening to him blab on, and it's like all these words are coming out of his mouth but I don't understand what his point is. The thing with Barack Obama is he gets to the point.

exactly! he's one of the few politicians i can actually listen to for more than a few minutes. getting to the point and ANSWERING the questions is a sublimely underrated tactic in american politics today.

I'm really psyched to hear both of you guys say this, because this has been one of Barack's biggest weaknesses: getting to the damn point in a forum or debate setting. But it seems like lately he's been doing a lot better at the brevity thing.

Heck, he might not be great at it, but compared to McCain he's a freaking genius. McCain's just flapping his jaw and Palin's just using up cutting room floor dialogue from the Die Hard franchise.

No. Well, I don't know, I can't ever stand to listen to him long enough to find out. He's always just blathering on about something.

Surely he did not say that about international students? Seriously? Sheesh.
