iTunes tips

I use iTunes to manage my music library for DJing. I've always liked it, but this latest version has some really great features, especially if you need to sort a large music collection in ways that developers didn't necessarily think of.

I'm a new iPod owner (8 gig Nano. Happy birthday to me, thank you Christine). I'm still learning how to live with iTunes. Personally, I'd rather just drag the music I want from my file explorer right onto my device. Which I can do with my Nano, but I still need to install iTunes. (Potentially I can use a Winamp, but I haven't yet had the chance to screw with that option.) I think what may be the saving grace of iTunes for me is the smart playlist feature. If I can get my music organized correctly that will be useful. I can see how it would be nice to have iTunes throw an assortment of cycling-able music (i.e. not James Taylor ( ... )
