Don't forget to breathe

I've caught myself holding my breath more often lately. It's usually when I'm working or otherwise concentrating hard. I don't know if it's a cause or co-effect of the headaches and tension I've felt in my back and neck lately, but I need to change it somehow. I've done this before -- almost always during a time when I feel additional stress. Breathing deeply when I noticed myself doing this helped. It's crazy to me when our bodies recognize the stress we're under before our minds. Good luck -- no suffocation!

I breathe shallowly and clench my jaw when stressed. If I start to breathe deeply I also unclench my jaw. No idea how to keep myself doing it regularly. Yoga has helped but not solved that for me.
