vacation photos: part beach

We took so many photos of our trip in Michigan this year, and since LJ is my scrapbook, there will be many of them (truly crappy photos not shown, and others tastefully cropped) posted. There are SO many, and it's so much work for me to get it in here, that I'm doing this in several posts over several days time, organized by activities

Cool! I need to find a decent beach somewhere in the vicinity of us.

We did have a great time...and it's too bad this place we go every year is at least a 7 hour drive away. I don't know where you are, if you can find one closer than that, but really I think for a decent beach we're probably stuck at it being at least 5 hours away (if somewhere on Lake Erie could be considered decent).

There don't seem to be any sandy beaches near me anywhere. I miss the ocean so much all the time, and a sandy beach would help a lot.

Glad you had good weather for your beach days. That's always a crapshoot in MI. ;-)

Oh yeah, we've definitely had years where it was 60 degrees all week, or rainy, or both. I am hopeful next year when the baby is less trouble (and would in fact be a toddler closing in on 3 years old) that the weather is much the same as this year. It was perfect!

She is growing up, indeedy :).

Yup, I have one tattoo I like a great deal, a butterfly, and one I don't like at all, this yin-yang/ankh combo that is just in an entirely wrong place and too big for what it is. But it costs so much to get tattoos removed.
