here's my pick for president. Of course, they forgot to ask questions about how important I find voting strategically.

Right now, I'm thinking the winning ticket is Obama/Richardson. Not the ticket that warms the cockles of my heart, but the one that I think will win.

Obama/Richardson sounds like a winner, too, except that it's a little short on the traditional Democratic ticket of 'white Southern guys'.

I actually fear for Obama's life, if his momentuum continues. The euphoria I see nowadays is too reminiscent of 1968, and it's very disturbing.

The parallels with 1968 do seem to be disturbingly-strong. I've been wondering if the universe doesn't have a 21st century version of the Tet Offensive waiting for us. I hadn't thought of the Bobby Kennedy analog until you mentioned it, though. Chilling connotations.
