last night was amazing...

we ate at Santiago's...Chilean Prawns, coconut rice and these delicious potatoes (papas arveuidas? no idea) with a pitcher of sangria. mmm. then to Temple for a glass of wine, then walking around downtown enjoying the summer night in Victoria.

I'm thirsty. and about to go for a long walk with Claire. :)

My summer weekends are so much fun...I hope Peter and I have as much in the winter when the boat is in storage and it's cold outside. This weekend we went to his company barbecue, then we watched the Butchart Garden fireworks from the water (sooo impressive, better than Canada Day AND the 4th of July). what a sweet long weekend.

I am so happy...I'm probably glowing. aside from the tan. :)

Seattle/GH peeps, (i.e. Frank, Erik, Chuck, Kenin, etc.) if you're around Labour Day weekend, I'm bringing the man in my life down and we should make some plans together.

This is my first night alone at home in almost forever. Well in at least a month. I'm watching trash TV and I ordered a pizza. Delicious. And Peter called me from the satellite phone in Nootka Sound, which had like a five second delay, so that made me happy. I think it's early to bed time!

back from Guatemala....

that was a crazy intense experience. it's really making me re-evaluate my life, for reals. check out the website of the organization I went with at www.agros.org. and now I have been awake since 5:30 a.m. Mountain time and travelling since then so it's peace out to bed then back to Victoria manana.
