It's 45 bucks to tether the iphone here. :( 25 for data and an additional 20 for tethering.
I'm glad you can tether from your phone for no extra cost. I don't really need it I guess since the things I do on my computer are like watching videos my phone cant support anyway, and I have no problem answering emails and such on my phone.
That's absolutely highway robbery to tether. But I think cell phone contracts are more expensive in the State in general than they are here. Mom was telling me about her trying to deal with Annie's cell phone and she was talking about $70/month!! I nearly fell off my chair...
Yeah,, ATT's minimum minute plan is 39.99 for 450 daytime and I think 5000 night minutes? Then $5-20 for texting (200-unlimited texts), and iPhone requires the user to pay for a data package which is $15-25. $15 gets you 200MB of data. If you go over even 1 MB they charge you another $15 and give you another 200MB. Whereas $25 gets you 2GB and if you go over, they charge you an additonal $10 bucks for another 1GB. Why is 1GB additional $10 when 200MB additional is $15?!
