I'm exactly 1/2 way through my college career and i'm burned out. And its not high school senior burned out. I have been in school for almost 15 years now. It is all i know. I am scared shitless of what is outside of school and if i can be anything other than a student but i can't help but be sick of it. I really need to have something happen

There is nothing to be scared about life outside of college. I haven't been able to go due to monetary issues, and I am doing fine. I know you are a smart and resourceful person, and I think when you graduate you will do extremely well. Just remember that you are going to college to better your life, so you won't have to work minimum wage and always struggle.

I'm scared i'll turn out like one of the minimum wage people. most all of my friends in LO are doing that because none of them have gone (or finished) college. They seem to be getting by for the most part so i don't see it as that bad but i know i can do better. Its just, again, all i know so its hard to think otherwise ya know?

THANKS! And yea, for the time being there is nothing wrong with minimum wage. I myself am an independent contractor making as much a month as a 40 hour a week minimum wage worker, but I work half as much. I am looking for another part time job and you know what? I am getting by. But, it's just in the future, down the line, when you want a family and a house, it's a good thing you are going to college because it will be easier for you to achieve that...and the people in LO can choose a different path. I know I am. As soon as I get any kind of second job, I am going back to college...
