I handed in the disserwhatzit to the last of the three people who need to read it and talked to the person who's in charge of chemistry teaching at UCD about positions for summer/fall/winter if I choose to hang here for a while longer. There is potential there for something useful. *yay

I'd be happy to, having just done mine for the first time in 8 years. But if you do an online search, you should find good models available.

Someone check me, but in the prehistory of the world, when I was at Davis, there was actually a service through the Alumni Association (? maybe not) that helped with all sorts of job-seeking skills: CVs, interview tips, etc.

I haven't seen them myself yet, but the nice people at the Internship and Career Center are said to give good advice on CVs. Pam Swartwood handles engineering and physical sciences, and Janice Morand handles health and bio-sci. (And pirates does sound like fun...)
