I may *have* to go there anyway, due to current family finances. But secretly, despite how close it is and what my friends say...I secretly like it. a lot. I mean, I still wish it wasn't so close (I feel like going to college wouldnt be as huge of a moment in my life if I could go home whenever I wanted), but as a school: it has shana written all over it.

truthfully, being able to go home is quite nice.

sure you get to see parents (which i personally like being able to do but i dunno about everybody else) but you also get to:
-do laundry for free
-eat food that doesn't suck
-go home when your sick
-steal food from home
and get a good college experience while doing so

Thats why Im seriously considering it. I actually really dont ever want to see my parents, but they've made it clear about the issue of coming home so it shouldnt be a problem anyway. So now, its just a school with a kick-ass marching band....that happend to be in maryland
