I came across a real treasure trove tonight. It's kinda funny. There was a shoebox in the closet of my old high school bedroom that's full of stuff; years of pictures, tons of letters from foreign pen pals, secret love letters from boys, notes I passed with girlfriends in h.s. and other stuff like that. Yesterday I quit Domino's (for the third time). I am adventuring away from Lafayette for a while. I just can't be here right now. Too many things here make me sad right now. I will go be happy somewhere else. Maybe I should go on a little vacation?

I like lj's new privacy settings for the archive. It no longer displays private entries to people or any entries which they are filtered from. Why didn't they do this a long time ago?

I've been feeling so much better lately. It's great. I was really down for a while but I'm slowly recovering. It helps that it's been over two weeks since I talked to Phil. I had a pretty funny dream last night. I was getting ready to leave some small-town local bar to go somewhere else when I noticed a banner hanging on a fence outside. This afternoon has been so stressful and sad. I cut my finger really bad opening a package from my mom. It wouldn't stop bleeding for a long time. I was mildly worried that I might need stitches but it seems to have stopped now and hopefully I can get by with ointment and bandaids ( Read more... )
