Lately, time has just been flowing by. Wake up, it hurts. Crawl in shower. Get into uniform. Drive to work. Do one or two ops. Somehow get through it even though I don't know very much. Come home. Zone out, maybe fall asleep ( Read more... )

I can't speak for everyone, but-- yeah, definitely feeling pretty robotic and disconnected in my life right now!

Hey you! You're still alive! Yeah, I think about you sometimes and wonder how things are. Recovering from some kind of heart surgery! Did they have to open up your ribcage? Is it true pregnancy and thus motherhood might be beyond plausibility this lifetime? What does THAT all mean?

Anyway, you fought off the rains with your umbrella long enough to tell us some great stories, for which I'm grateful.
