I started trying to watch the new series Revolution, the one about the power all going out a la S.M. Stirling (but without the baffling addition of the non-functioning gunpowder), because it's a plot idea in which I'm at least marginally interested. Who doesn't love a good apoca-fic

Oh, really? That's disappointing. I've been planning to check out this show. The premise sounded intriguing.

Yeah, it definitely is an interesting premise. I'll be keeping an ear out towards it in case anything develops that's cool enough for me to forget the blandness of the first episodes. But seriously, I got to the part where Tough Badass Chick Suddenly Becomes Helpless When About to Be Raped And Needs Random Man To Miraculously Appear In Scene And Save Her and was like, "meeeeeeehhhhhhhhh...."
