Fuck Sandman, I want to know how Topher Grace is going to pull off looking like Eddie Brock.

I'm thinking they're going for more of a "evil twin" thing with Venom. Which I think blows.

The villian should be better, stronger, more badass than the hero. That way it makes the hero that much more glorious when he prevails.

Topher Grace better be cool. Otherwise I'll be mad.

But you gotta admit, Sandman looks pretty cool.

They did manage to capture the prototypical image of Sandman, which is nice. I agree on the Brock thing. The coolest thing about Venom was that he was everything Spiderman wasn't. It makes more sense to have Spidey's nemesis be his polar opposite rather than his mirror image with a twist.
I mean, seriously...Topher Grace? Ever since Venom's been around, every artist has made him freaking huge and scary. How the hell are they going to believably pull that off with Topher Grace?

I think we should make Spider-Man 3. We're just as qualified as Sam Raimi and Avi Arad. Right?
