Daiki’s car stopped in front of a big mansion. He went out and escorted Shane. They went inside the mansion, still Shane’s on her school uniform. Daiki, wearing a black jeans, a white plain shirt, with his leather jacket. He let Shane sat on their living room as the maids started to serve her something to eat. A strawberry shortcake and an Iced tea. Strawberry huh? She thought, looking at the strawberry tart that was given to her. An alien food. She recognized. Shane sighed heavily before taking a small piece of tart using the golden fork. It was indeed tasty.
“ Ah! Our order is here.” He changed the topic when he saw the waitress a while ago. The waitress placed carefully their order. She smiled at Yamada cutely, and tucked her hair behind her ears. Yamada smiled lightly, and bowed. She winked at him before leaving them while Shane was looking at her from head to toe. Her eyebrow can’t help to rose because she was really annoyed by that girl.
“ What does strawberry shortcake taste like?” She asked curiously , pointing his strawberry using her fork.
“ Ah. It taste like strawberry!” He cheerfully answered and took a piece of cake.
“ I know it’s a stawb-..”
“ Taberu!” He smiled, offering his fork with his cake.
“ Ahhhh ~ C’mon don’t be shy!” He added.
“ Shut up!” She said pushing his fork away from her mouth.
She smiled as she remembered that.
Cutting her flashback, Daiki called her. She looked at the guy who was standing few meters away from her. He’s wearing now his black tuxedo.
“ Ohh Dai-chan… what’s with your outfit? Gonna attend a meeting with your dad?” Shane asked, giggling.
“ Nope.” Daiki simply replied as he walks closer to her.
“ Then what?” She asked.
Daiki grabbed her hand and went upstairs.
“ Wa-wait! I’m not finish with the alien food yet!” She said, stopping Daiki.
Daiki looked at her with questioning face. “ A-alien food?” He asked her pardon.
“ O-oh.. sorry. I mean the strawberry short cake.” She giggled again, few seconds later, she flashed a weak smile. Stupid alien! Why do things around me keep on remembering you ?!
“ O-oh.. okay. I’ll let the maids get you another one upstairs. Someone’s waiting for you.” Daiki said.
“ Ohh. Okay.”
Opening the door, she saw Daiki’s parents with her parents. Smiling at them. She was stunned, What the hell these old hags doing here?
“ For our engagement party this coming Saturday.” Daiki answered as if he can read her mind.
Shane looked at Daiki, surprised.
“ So we don’t have to explain everything.. you’ll be engage this Saturday.” Shane’s dad said.
“ H-huh ? Ho-how about Yamada-kun?” She asked, confused. Sheez. What the hell are you saying?!
“ What’s with you? I thought you don’t want to be with Yamada-kun?” Daiki whispered.
“ Ye-yeah.. I forgot.” She faced palm. Daiki looked at her worriedly.
“ Yamada-kun’s parents changed their minds and we can’t do anything anymore. Good timing, Daiki’s parents just offered us to merge our company.” Shane’s mom explained.
“ Oh.. really?” was the only thing she could say. Things are happening too fast.
“ Yup.” Daiki smiled at her. She gave him a smile too and soon, it faded away.
“ Do you mind letting Shane to stay overnight here?” Daiki’s dad asked to her parents, following a grin.
“ Sure.” Shane’s dad agreed, flashing a grin too. Ugh! These two old man~ perverted as Yamada!
“ Realy ?!” Daiki said with excitement.
“ Yes. So we will be leaving now.. and Daiki, please bring her to shool tomorrow.” Shane’s mom said.
“ My pleasure.” Daiki smiled.
“ I-I don’t have my school uniform for tomorrow!” Shane said, totally refusing the offer of overnight stay.
“ Is that so? I’ll let Sebastian bring your clothes and everything here.” Shane’s mom said.
“ Bu-but mom!”
Her mom eyed on her to obey her. Shane sighed and lowered her head.
“ Okaa-sama, can we sleep together at my room?” Daiki asked.
“ Yeah sure. I don’t mind.”
“ Thanks!” He said as she grabbed her to his room.
