ya know, children and females here higher frequencies then do men and adults. Like, a young girl has the widest hearing range, and an old man the smallest.

My prof and a bunch of other people were at a marine lab (I think in hawaii, but i'm not sure) doing acoustic recordings on some dolphins, and the students were playing back the tapes, and everyone was listening to the dolphins, and my prof's friend, the head researcher guy there, was all like 'when are you going to start the tapes?'

Aint that great? I suppose thats one of the reasons they have little visualizations to go w/ frequencies and amplitude so even if you dont hear it, you can be like, 'oh, great, Loli's talking!' even if you cant here her. LoL
