I'm generally bad about commenting, so I've just quietly been loving all of your stories, but I need to tell you how viscerally perfect I found this, particularly Dean's fight to be Sam's witness. As someone who has been lucky enough to be loved that fiercely in resonant ways, I can only say how much it meant to be able to recognize it here, to read Dean's final litany of the things he knows, and have been given a moment to honor that gift.
