Hey, thanks for reading. Yeah as you can see, this was supposed to be up sometime during the holidays... but never made it. More will be revealed about Juan's family in the next part, which shouldn't take as long as this one did, since most of it has already been written. Thanks for the comments!

I'm so curious about Juan's past. Can't wait to know his story. You did a great job writing him. You're an awesome writer and it doesn't matter that it's your first time writing Juan. You're still doing incredibly good.
Loved the appearance of Fernando's parents and how they treat Juan. Also loved that Fernando and Juan are getting closer and more comfortable with each other and how Fer is slowly coming back to life. Loved the whole story.
Hope to read more soon. This is such an amazing story. Thanks so much for sharing.

I feel horrible for saying this, but given the state of how Chelsea is playing right now, it's really put me into the right state of mind to write the tragedy that is Nando's life. Though it would be nice for them to start winning soon, so I can get some happier/fluffier parts in. Juan's past will be revealed soon, I tried to drop some hints, but I'm not sure if I made it work. Thanks for the wonderful comments!

This story makes my heart swell. It is so incredibly beautiful, leaving all the suffering aside. Even if that suffering makes a big important part of the story.
I love Mata, and his situation has got me confused. I can't wait to learn more about his life.

Now that I think of it, most of my stories have a lot of suffering and inner demons. I'm not sure what that says about me... should I be getting worried? I'm sorry if you're confused about Mata, I tried leaving hints, but I'm pretty sure I failed at my attempt to foreshadow. The next part shouldn't take too long, I've written a lot of it already. I love this image of Juan: "He tries to keep busy with trivial tasks, like organizing Nora’s doll collection or trying new puree recipes for Leo," laughed my ass off, hahaha. And the other images like him making airplane sounds or dropping Leo on Fernando's lap when he's wallowing. I know it's impossible to recap all their encounters so these tiny flashbacks are lovely.

Also, again, this still has that quiet sadness from the previous chapter but it's so heartwarming. I like how the two boys are growing together, and Fernando's parents taking them as a unit. Awww, and that last scene with Fernando pissed that Juan was missing. I can't wait to read more!

Aww! I love this story. I'm so happy there's an update.

I kind of have a suspicion about what Juan's secret might be, but I'm still curious to see what it is. It's so sad to me that he thinks of himself as "just the nanny". I look forward to his and Fernando's relationship developing more in the future. I want them all to identify as a real family.

My really wild guess: Juan wanted to play for Chelsea, but something happened and he couldn't, so he became a nanny instead. Now he's ashamed to go home and admit that his dream isn't coming true.

I'm probably way off, right? :P
