This is because I picked Serenity off the movie rack and didn't care if it was crap (the cover wasn't encouraging really!) but I just wanted to see a sci-fi movie again. In all honesty though, yey, I love having more Firefly fans on my friends list. They get my jokes more. Go watch more episodesssssssss. You will love Simon and River more after Ariel. OMG so good.

We're actually, uh, "acquiring" Serenity right now, largely because it claims to be a 1080i copy and I was hoping the HD-ness would counteract the doubts we have about it... which were summed up by Rowan thus: "Whenever I think of Firefly I think of Joss Whedon's happy little face, saying, 'Yeah, a hundred planets in one solar system, and they're all cowboy planets!'"
