I realised that I promised to post pictures of the cake I made (ably assisted by Naraht) for the final Harry Potter party in Christ Church.

So here they are!!

Not only is the cake itself brilliant (and tasty :) ) but the photos are also very good, especially the first one, which seems very atmospheric to me... :-)

Actually I was a bit disappointed by the pictures - the ones above are nice, but none of the ones I took were particularly special. I don't think it was a particularly photogenic cake. *sigh*
However it did keep very well- my sisters and I were still eating it 2 weeks after I made it and it tasted fine!

Thats very sweet of you. One day I shall have lots of time and lots of money and they'll be no stopping me! Perhaps I might try Meduseld - just think of the Viking designs I could do with that! Or why stop there - why not just do all Edoras!!

Madame, there is no stopping you...after seeing the Great A'Tuin cake and now this, I am convinced that you will continue to exceed yourself in both the creativity and execution of ideas departments.
