In a completly shocking turn or events, LA Chemical stepped up to the plate and offered me a nice raise and a new job title. So, i will not be going back to Cytec, thus, i will not be moving back down. The latter part is the only downside and it's really not that big of a downside...I like my place and the rent is pretty cheap, so everything worked

the xA will for sure be too small... but remember how sweet the headroom was when i test-drove the xB? i can't see you in one of those, so it's a good thing you're not thinking about getting one.

why not a prius or another sort of hybrid?

I highly recommend a 2000 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner, or a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix. And if you're feeling REALLY adventurous, go with a '93 Escort. All fine choices...
