Those were both terrific, but I'm somewhat shocked. Splindsey! From my Spangel buddy. What's gotten into you? :D My favorite was the Butterfly one. I love that opera too. We have another thing in common. It was beautifully written. And you managed in so few words to capture it.
Whoops, I missed the Spike/Wesley. It was deeply cute. I like Wesley and sometimes I even feel generous enough to lend him Spike.
But, what's this about leaving memories? Please. You don't want to see me have a tantrum. It isn't pretty. You're not going anywhere, are you? You have me very worried now. I wouldn't know what to do if you were gone.
First of all, I'm not leaving, darling: it's blondebitz who's playing business woman and leaving for business travel :)
Splindsey, yes... but you'll admit it's not a very happy Splindsey! In the same "return from the hell bus", I'm planning a Spike/Giles too (hopefully funny) and of course our eternal Spangel, full of fangs and lust ;)
It puts me in a wonderful frame of mind that you like my attempts at writing, and especially this little bit at the Opera. I had this picture in my mind of the Gerschwin on Broadway, all gold and dark red, and I started to hear "Con Onor Muore"... Spike was there :)
Thank you, darling, for remembering this conversation ;) To me, he's very "earthy", very... human, yes. And I always thought it was a part of his love/hate relationship with Angel -the part of him that envies the 'ethereal' qualities of a vampire. A relationship he doesn't have with Spike who's very, very human.

I'll look forward to the Spiles. I've written some of that myself. It's a secret. :)
It puts me in such a happy frame of mind when you write. I'm specially liking that Butterfly. I keep reading it over and over.
