Had a pretty good Friday with Kailey and Ren this week, and also got a new job Thursday! Nothing awesome, and not as reliable and steady as I'd like, but... hey it's money, and money is something I need!

BUT I'M GOING TO TALK ABOUT PONIES INSTEAD CUS... just 'cus.

I haven't seen this episode yet (I'm a terrible fan... I'm still mid-season one as far as episodes go, but I do this thing where I'm like "NO I HAVE TO SAVOR THEM AND CAN'T WATCH THEM ALL AT ONCE" which is silly, and I know it.) BUT I still have feelings ( ... )

Lol I was like that for awhile... I sort of just watched through season one as the episodes popped up on my DVR (I became a fan just past mid-season), but I've been keeping up with everything weekly since season two started back in September. Not silly at all to want to savor them~

It wasn't super-sympathetic... that's something I think Rainbow Dash really needs, though. In this week's episode she was pretty much the comedy relief, and kept getting shafted because she wanted to try the cider but the Apple family kept running out the second it was her turn in line, or some other random thing would happen to prevent her from drinking some. It was just sort of relatable, I guess, to see her frustrated over something simple.

She definitely needs an ep where you learn something about her vulnerable side, something that might explain her behavior. I really do want to like her, and I guess I sort of do, but she's definitely my least favorite protagonist character and it bothers me somewhat. I didn't feel that way about her until, like you ( ... )

Yeah, I've been using the episodes as brain candy when I get stressed or unhappy about something. Just like a "hey, it's not so bad... I can watch ponies and be happy!" so I'm afraid of coming to the end of them. I know it's kinda silly though, especially when I want to be able to catch up and actually discuss episodes and character development and such ( ... )

I used to use Cardcaptor Sakura for that purpose... but then I ran out of episodes T__T There were a lot more of those than MLP: FiM, too.

I think we all wish we could be a bit more like Applejack, especially since she's been getting less stubborn about accepting help from others. I am much too lazy/un-athletic, though... and too selfish :P But I am a terrible liar and thus rarely lie, so there's that, I suppose.
