This morning, we all got up early. Seamus started off by checking his email. He was disappointed that none of his girlfriends wrote him. :(
Since no one wrote him, he took a bath to get over it.
We left home and our first stop was Lawson's for some Milk Tea (British Style), raspberry mints, and a Ohanami special edition KitKat bar. :)
Then we untied our shoes because we're Seamus and that's what we do.
We passed the ice cream parlor, the local television station, a jewlery store (the whole black building is a jewlery store), and a pachinko parlor.
Finally, we saw the sign. 2K to Toys'RUs. Yay!
We passed McDonald's on the way there. And the U&DenimLife store.
There it is!
We found parking on the second floor of the parking garage and got all out of the car and ready to go in. :)
We started out by looking at the backpacks. Japanese children recieve one of these backpacks when they graduate from kindergarden. The backpack costs about $250+ and they keep it throughout their time in school.
What a great children's toy...
Mom, why are you making me hold a stuffed beatle?
Train on Piglet!
Even Japanese people feed their children "crap in a can". In fact, breastfeeding is NOT the norm over here.
Japanese cloth diaper.
I wanted this, but at $200, I don't think so.
Come to the dark side, we have gum.
$10 says a man designed this.
MIGHTY MORPHIN POWER RANGEEEEERRRRRSSSS!
The Mario Brothers are teh hot.
After we left Toys'RUs, we went to the Co-Op grocery store (that I forgot to take a picture of) and looked at....
Taco Supplies
Ketchup
Edible Pokemon!!!! Ramen
QOO! I love Qoo!
and Crunky (not crunchy!) bars
Then we left Co-Op to run by Goodwill. On the way, we passed a groovy purple building, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and a motorcyclist. :)
We also passed a store called "No Hobby, No LIfe!" (that sells books), a caveman, our favorite curry resturant, Coco's, and a ferris wheel.
You'll get a Japanese prize if you can guess what this store is.
Then we arrived at Goodwill (which, for the record, is an electronics store).
We did our business, then took a very cranky Seamus home.
We got home, changed clothes, and Seamus took a nap.
Wasn't that a nice day?
