You're clearly going to be a dangerous person to have on my flist. At least from a reading pile and bank account point of view. I already manage well enough on my own!
Seriously though, hooray book recs! I really enjoyed the Uglies series when I read them on a friend's rec (same friend who recced THG to me), and when I get down some of my pile of things to read I might consider looking at a couple of these.
You don't even want to see all the books I have waiting to be read on my e-reader. And then someone just recommended a website where I can get digital advanced readers copies because of my job.
There aren't enough hours in the day!
Feel free to shoot me back any recs for books you like.
Oh, my pile of actual books and ebooks to be read is only so small due to sheer bloody minded restraint. The list of books I want to read is probably innumerable by this point. I am jealous of your ARC capabilities

I haven't read Cloud Atlas. I tend to avoid bestsellers like the plague (unless convinced otherwise.) My logic is that they kinda sell themselves so I try to focus more on lesser known works. I do read alot of teen bestsellers though because parents always come in with questions about content and reading level. I definitely add it to my list though! Good world-building is like crack to me
