Ok guys...need help

How do you cool a third floor apartment with windows that won't hold an air conditioner? I'm slowly roasting like a pig!!

um, no, all those do is circulate the air, they have no cooling effect whatsoever. what you need is a free standing air conditioner. they are a little bit more pricey but will go wherever you put it like a dehumidifier would. lowes or a similar place should have them. i doubt if wal-mart has any but worth calling and asking.
