Nothin' to see here folks
Well, I hit 20 weeks o' pregnancy this week and still don't have much to show for it. That is to say, my belly still hasn't stretched past my boobs. If you didn't know I was pregnant, you wouldn't know I was pregnant. I still look like I just ate a big burrito or have a chunky belly, which doesn't help. The other day I watched auditions for a short piece I'm directing in a production of short pieces. 7 directors watching the same actors. I think I'm the most actor-y of the directors, and I was struck during the post-audition discussion at how different my perceptions were. I was far more generous in my assessments. Pooch!
Today for the first time, just into 16 weeks, I can discern a definite little tummy pooch. One that can't be blamed on wheat or a big meal puffing it up. It's like I swallowed a whole apple. -

Pregnancy Post 1
I think it was the pneumonia. Or maybe it was the cough syrup . All I know is that after a year of trying, and eventually seeking fertility treatments, I finally got pregnant. Hello LJ,
Long-time, no entries. See, early in January I discovered I was pregnant, and, well, I didn’t want to announce it for awhile. And then I couldn’t really talk about anything else at all. I was pretty well preoccupied with that state of events and nothing else seemed blog-worthy.

What the Funny
A few years back I made 13 episodes of what was supposed to be a web-based sitcom in 10-minute episodes called What the Funny. It was directed by Lynn Shelton of Humpday fame and written by some of Seattle's funniest writers and a very funny cast. It's finally available online and I hope you'll check it out. I had so much fun making it.
