About a week and a half ago, I picked up Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Three or four days later, I had finished the first three books. I wasn't expecting to become addicted. The writing is sub-par, the characters can be annoying, but the story... I just couldn't help myself. The books were easy to read, fun, and didn't require a great attention ( Read more... )

I don't know which one is my favorite yet. I read them so fast that they all sort of blended together. I'll have to do a reread! I cannot wait until Saturday!

Sometimes those are my favorite kinds of reads. Entertaining and easy that you just gobble up really fast. Great for summer reading.

I just picked up the Other Boleyn Girl. So far, not blowing me away, but enjoyable.

It's funny how my flist is suddenly falling under the Twilight thrall o_O And how we're viewing it like some sort of shameful thing and feeling the need to "out" ourselve. Hah.

Anyway. I agree with pretty much everything you said, except that I do picture the actors when I read. :)
