The good news and bad news about Sims 2.
The good news is! I FIXED THE SIMS 2!! And I said that earlier, but then it broke again, but THEN I figured out the problem, and it's done and fixed and WOO! So yeah, SIMS 2 LEGACIES FTW!!!
Bad news...my hope to revive the Colors is shattered. I had saved their family file on my desktop, along with my downloads folder, but when I thought Sims 2 would work, I put it all back in the EA games file. Little did I know, the real problem that prevented TS2 from working was that one of my stuff packs completely ERASED the EA games folder. So, when I installed it, WHOOSH, erased. Meaning, I'm starting from scratch. No CC, and no Colors. :(
But hey, I'm just seriously happy TS2 is working. So, HUZZAH!
